Sweet Potato Casserole

Description:
I got this recipe at an Anaheim 2nd ward “Bite of Christmas” enrichment and have used it ever since.
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked or canned sweet potatoes or yams, well drained and mashed.
1 cup sugar
1/3 stick soft margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring (optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 beaten eggs
Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 stick margarine
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Mix first 8 ingredients together and pour into a greased baking dish. Mix topping ingredients well and sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes.
